How do I identify an Afghan rug?
1 Answer

Afghan rugs are hand-woven from wool and traditionally made in Afghanistan. Each rug will vary in design, size and color, so no two rugs are exactly alike. A hand-woven rug will not have machine stitching on the ends, instead, it will be hand-knotted. Browse a selection of expertly vetted Afghan rugs on 1stDibs.
