Americana art is art concerning or characteristic of America or its culture. Typically, this term refers to art which reflects the nostalgia of America's past. The most original form of Americana art is folk art, although many artworks fit into this genre. Examples of this art form are Jasper Johns' Three Flags and Grant Wood's American Gothic.
