Ron Arad is famous for his work as a designer. In 1989, he and Caroline Thorman founded Ron Arad Associates. Arad has exhibited at many major museums and galleries throughout the world, and his work is in major collections of contemporary design, including at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany.
