Who is Alexis Bittar?

Alexis Bittar is an American jewelry designer. In 1988, he established his eponymous brand and began to handcraft and sell his jewelry in New York City. Over the following decades, Bittar helped to drive a resurgence in the popularity of art costume jewelry. In 2010, the CFDA awarded him its prestigious Accessory Designer of the Year award.
