Who is Kurt Olsen?
Kurt Olsen is best known for having produced furnishings that exemplify the characteristics of Danish modernism. During the 1950s, Olsen designed pieces for the Danish furniture manufacturer Slagelse Møbelvaerk, and legendary joiners A. Andersen and Bohm built many of his works. Some of Kurt Olsen's most notable furniture designs include the Model 223 Armchair, the Model 215 Wingback Lounge Chair and the Model 214 Two-Seater Sofa.
