Greg Frederick
Record-breaking artist Greg Frederick creates his Vinyl Pop Art masterpieces out of unplayable vinyl records, their packaging, and other recycled music-related materials in his Brooklyn, NY studio. Greg’s first showing of his Vinyl Pop Art was in 2011 at the Leslie Lohman Museum next to Andy Warhol. Over 10 years later, Greg has gained worldwide attention. His portrait of Booker T. & The MGs is displayed as part of the permanent collection of The Stax Museum of American Soul Music in Memphis, TN. His work has also been featured in the UK’s Daily News, The Howard Stern Show, and Puff Daddy’s Revolt Network. Some of his celebrity collectors include Stevie Nicks, Paul Rudd, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, Tony Hsieh the founder of Zappos, electronic music legend Carl Cox, NBA star Trevor Booker, and Halsey, who chose him to create a piece to promote her first show at Madison Square Garden.
