"Friendly Money Loan" Realistic miniature, architecture, building, cityscape
By Drew Leshko
Located in Philadelphia, PA
This piece titled "Friendly Money Loan" is an original artwork made from paper, plaster, vinyl, acrylic, enamel, polyester, basswood, chain, wire, inkjet prints, and pastel by Drew Leshko. This piece measures 35"h x 16"w x 9"d.
Drew Leshko is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based artist. By carving, cutting, and layering varieties of paper and wood, Leshko creates documentary studies of architecture from his neighborhood in an attempt to create a three dimensional archive of buildings that are in transitional periods. The work examines gentrification and history, how historical relevance is determined, and most importantly, what is worth preserving. Working from observation and photographs, the artist painstakingly recreates building facades from his neighborhood at a 1:12 scale...

Antique, 19th C. Peugeot Frères Brevetés French Coffee Grinder Table Sculpture
Located in Surfside, FL
This is being sold as a piece of (functional?) decorator table sculpture for a kitchen or restaurant. I do not know if or how it works. the wheel and gears turn. It might be missing a cover on the handle. It is a lovely antique piece. Made in France.
A halfcentury before they produced their first car, the Peugeot brothers were making coffee grinders, continuing to do so for over 100years. In 1840 the Peugeots produced their first moulin a
cafe out of a combination of metal and wood. The beans were inserted into the metal
hopper up top; metal gears were turned by a woodenknob-capped metal...

Original 1950s Turner 33D Dynamic Microphone Repurposed Lamp Sculpture
By Chuck Krause
Located in Fairfield, CT
Artist: Chuck Krause (1949)
Title: 1950s Turner 33D Dynamic Microphone Repurposed Lamp Sculpture
Year: Repurposed in 2019
- vintage, repurposed non-working microphone
- overall height (includes stand): 10”
- microphone head: 3" x 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”
- includes chrome base (diameter: 5")
- total weight: 3 lbs.
- re-wired power cord with wall plug
- wear consistent with age and use
- low voltage, led, cool to the touch
- artist’s signature hand incised on base
- Serial #33D 13008 H
Notes: One of the most famous and collectible Turner mics of all time. The Turner 33D with heavy deco influence and outrageous style that set it apart from every other microphone ever designed.
The 33 series was first introduced in the 1940's and had a run of 20 years. The first generation 33 mics had a rounded lower pistol grip while the 2nd generation had the flat rectangular lower pistol grip. Otherwise, the microphone looked the same. The 33 series also came with either a crystal or dynamic element. The crystal elements were inferior and wore out over time while the dynamic elements sounded much better and tended to last over the decades. The satin chrome has a slightly pitted finish with a few lite scratches. Some small chrome loss on the lower pistol grip but all around a good looking 33D. The black cloth screen has minor imperfections. Overall this is cosmetically a 7 on a scale of 1 - 10 and very worthy of any vintage mic...
