We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare and highly collectable fully stamped Oxblood leather captains chair made by Wylie & Lochhead LTD by special appointment to H.M The King, circa 1900
A very comfortable and highly coveted office chair. The upholstery is thick Scottish leather, the frame solid mahogany, the base has the original twin steel tension adjuster, this is a substantial piece of craftsmanship
This chair has the original stamp to the bottom back of the frame, it also has a plaque to the base which reads as follows, Whlie & Lochhead LTD 45 Buchanan Street Glasgow by Special Appointment to H.M The King
We have cleaned waxed and polished the suite from top to bottom, one seat base has some marks, otherwise they are in good used condition throughout
