The restoration team pulled no punches on this authentic Raymond Loewy DF-2000 mini-credenza console, and the end result exceeded our expectations. We re-finished the rosewood on both front and back to accentuate the contrast between all of the diverse materials that make up this unit. As you can see, this console is fully finished in rosewood on the back and attractive from every direction. The bottom spanner was re-painted white and the cherry red, injection molded plastic drawer fronts were finally buffed and polished to a glassy shine. The top section drawer cabinet is separate from the base, and can be lifted off and screwed in place if desired. The bottom is a rosewood platform with polished chrome legs attached underneath. No need to worry about water marks and scratches with this top. The industrial strength laminate is ideal for TV and stereo components...
