It is featured numerous times in the new coffee table book on David Edward Byrd's art titled "Poster Child" This original painting on acetate of Jimi was painted in 2006. It was based on David's 1968 original drawing of the very 1st version for Jimi's first Fillmore East appearance. When Bill Graham asked David if he can "add the other two guys" to the image, David created the now famous orange poster with all 3 members of the Experience and this first version of the poster was never created until 2006 when we asked David if he could create an original painting based on the very first drawing that he did for the concert.
