Actual golf clubs—identifiable by their brand and sizing—have been cut, shaped, and welded into a long neck and wedge-like base in the form of a classic golf club. At its foot nestles a large 5-inch diameter golf ball, cradled among the irons, integrating whimsy and meaning into the structure. The entire lamp is metal, and the weight and feel are substantial.
The surface carries a clean white enamel finish that brings a contemporary Pop-Art sensibility to the form.
