Born in Milan in 1939. Graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan, he has been designing furniture, furnishing accessories and lighting fixtures since 1962.
Among the most impotent work experiences are the design of office and electronic machines for Olivetti, in collaboration with Ettore Sottsass, at first and independently afterwards; for Fiat accessories for the Panda car; for Riello air conditioning equipment. Fratelli Guzzini, Frau, Arteluce, Indesit, Busnelli, Shipper, Antonangeli, Ycami, Venini, Magneti Marelli, are other companies for which he collaborated.
Many awards are attributed to the work done; among the most prestigious the "Golden Lamp" award in 1980, the BIO / Ljubljana in 1982 and 1988 and the Golden Compass in 1989 and 1991.
