Geometric clip-earrings designed by Haroldo Burle Marx (1911-1991). Beautiful vintage geometric pieces, created in Brazil by the artists-jeweler Haroldo Burle Marx. This pair of clips-earrings was carefully crafted in the early 1970's in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with the surfaces finished with the characteristic Marx's Florentine pattern. They are suited, with omega backs for fastening clips and the posts option for pierced ears can be easily added. The design of this pieces are rounds and each one exhibit in the surface, the geometric deconstruction of a circle. They are an exceptional and wearable sculptural art-pieces from the Brazilian concretism art movement. They has a combined weight of 20.8 Grams and a diameter of 29.5 mm (1.14 Inches). Both are stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed, "BM 791 .750".
