Arthur Percy, a pivotal figure in 20th-century Swedish decorative arts, served as artistic director of Gullaskruf from 1952 and brought a refined, architectural sensibility to the glassworks’ production. His solifleur vases, such as this example, were designed not only to function as stem vases but also to sit sculpturally within minimalist interiors—characteristic of the era’s design ethos. Standing approximately 18 cm tall and 10 cm in diameter, this vintage Swedish vase is a collectible example of mid-century modern glassware. In very good condition with no chips or cracks; minor surface wear to the base consistent with age and gentle use.
