These are NINE Delft ceramic wall tiles, all with different blue and white hand painted patterns, made in the Netherlands, from the 19th Century to the 17th Century, but mainly 18th Century. Each tile is nominally slightly over 5 inches square.. All nine tiles are unique, being individually hand painted with different scenes and patterns featuring various scenes with buildings, trees, watersides, boats and one floral, with most having spider motif corners. They are all enamelled in cobalt blue, using different shades of blue, which varies slightly from tile to tile as expected:- please see the images. 18th Century British porcelain Caughley painted chinoiserie shaped dishes, circa 1785-1793. The pair of shaped oval dishes are painted in the center with a chinoiserie scene of a pagoda by a lakeside and others in the background and a solitary Chinese figure fishing in the foreground by the side a fenced garden. The wide border has a repeating pattern of a large Double Greek Key design and panels of diaper. The blue on one is a little darker than the other. Dimensions: width 10 1/2 inches x 7 1/4 inches x 1 1/2 inches high Mark: In underglaze blue a number 8 or possibly a B on the inside foot rim of the darker example.
