Aldin produced few golfing works and this example is one of a series of six golf course views "Famous Golf Courses" published in the 1920's. The six golf courses were Sunningdale, North Berwick, Westward Ho, Royal St. George's, Walton Heath and St Andrews. taken from Royal North Devon website:- Royal North Devon at Westward Ho! can rightly claim to be the cradle of English Golf. Founded in 1864, it is the oldest golf course in the country and is regarded as the St Andrews of the South.
