This vintage gleaming midcentury sterling silver flatware service is by the Mexican designer Celsa. The pattern, Avanti, has an impressive ultra-modern look that became very popular in New York after its production, circa 1955. Each piece of flatware features a solid geometric pattern accenting each handle. The service for twelve is displayed in a mahogany case that has a lower drawer filled with extra serving utensils.
