An extremely stylish and beautifully made Livre D'heures Alarm clock, in the shape of a small book, the case made of gilded brass is engraved on all sides and beautifully fitted together. The eight day movement made by Angelus is in remarkable condition. The case is stamp ‘JUST’ and was part of a limited number of clocks being produced Hour Lavigne in France with this trademark at the top end of the company’s production, this clock dates from the late 1940’s- early 1950’s.
