Biography
Cliff Cavin
Cliff Cavin, a native of San Antonio, Texas, is a landscape artist and has been painting for over thirty-five years. His focus is on the views of the American West, especially Texas and New Mexico. He has well over fifty professional exhibits to his name, most recently a one-man show at the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas that included forty-five pieces. He has also participated in shows such as the C. M. Russell Invitational Sale & Benefit, the American Plains Artist Museum Show, the Oil Painters of America National Exhibition and has had exhibitions at The Nave Museum, the Harlingen Public Library, the Southwest School of Art and San Antonio Art League. In addition, this is the twelfth year he has been invited to participate in the annual Briscoe Museum Night of Artist Sale & Exhibition. His paintings have won numerous awards and are collected both nationally and internationally in private and corporate collections, including Valero Oil, M.D. Anderson Hospital, Jefferson State Bank, Baylor Scott & White Health and Cibolo Creek Ranch.
