Daniel Chassin is a French artist and sculptor, born in 1950, who creates artworks in brass and bronze, welded, patinated or polished, with simplified shapes. He essentially stages animals in abnormal situations, giving a sort of mystery to his artworks. His sculptures are as figurative as abstract, mixing robustness and delicacy. His artworks express a sober realism, while strongly reflecting the movement and dynamism of the subject.
