Lady Deirdre Dyson is a renowned British artist and designer whose eponymous brand has redefined the luxury rug industry for over two decades. Originally trained as a fine artist at the Byam Shaw School of Art and the Wimbledon College of Art, Dyson’s transition to textile design began in the late 1990s when she sought a contemporary rug for her own home and, finding nothing suitable, designed one herself. Her bespoke creations are hand-knotted by Tibetan artisans in Nepal using the finest Tibetan wool and pure silk, often employing complex grading techniques to achieve three-dimensional effects and fluid movement.
