The Shadows Central Park Winter series originates from De Jonge's New York City series. Here you see the ice skaters in the Wollman Rink, Central Parks South. The ice skaters also resonate the metaphor for life itself; one is making speed or trying to find balance, alone or together, a spectator or participant.
