Eric Hesketh Hubbard Paintings
Eric Hesketh Hubbard was born in London, England in 1892. He studied at Felsted School, Felsted. Hubbard then went on to study art at the Heatherley School of Fine Art, Croydon School of Art and Chelsea Polytechnic. He has been a member of many art societies. His works are represented in many public collections, home and abroad. Hubbard published over a dozen books, including Colour B’lock Print Making and Architectural Painting in Oils. He is the founder and director of Forest Press. He lived in Croydon, Surrey, Salisbury, Hants and, later, in London. He produced artwork for the Southern Railway Post-War series. Eric Hesketh Hubbard was known for his landscape and architectural painting. He was also an etcher and a printmaker. He exhibited widely and was president of the Royal Society of British Artists as well as a member of many significant painting and printmaking societies.
