Each having the qualities and variations Slayton searches for, they are welded together resulting in a beautiful example of wabi-sabi. Steel and its use in architectural applications has always generated an emotional response for the artist, so simply stated it became his pallet. Every piece is a commissioned ‘art as furniture one-off’ that is numbered and signed. The console is part of his Plate Series and will ship directly from the artist's studio.
