This wonderful over size vintage Victorian period lamp is designed with an onyx column embellished with doré' bronze. This rests on a decorative footed platform featuring more' bronze mythological serpents at all of four corners. An American cut glass shade & globe complete this grand ensemble. The lamp is designed for a typical Victorian parlor. It was originally a kerosene lamp that was electrified with a single socket & an in line switch. This opulent antique table lamp features a finely cast ormolu Corinthian Capital decorated above a striking tapering onyx shaft. It stands on a large stepped square base, which features ormolu laurel wreath decoration. Add an element of Greek Classical style to your home with this exquisite antique table lamp.
