Abstract Murano glass sculpture of two lovers embracing is made in green, purple, and clear glass with gold flakes inclusions, encased in clear glass in sommerso technique. The two figures are supported by a figurative base, done in clear glass with gold inclusions.
Sandro Frattin opened his studio, La Vetreria Artistica TFZ Internazionale, in 1980s; he is renowned for his exceptional technical skills and creative use of ancient techniques in modern art objects.
The sculpture is 14.35" high; it has the etched signature by artist on the bottom: Art 8/99 126/500 S Frattin.
