Listed is a rare set of Modernist dining chairs, attributed to J.A. Muntendam — who was the artistic director of L.O.V. Oosterbeek in the late 1920s. L.O.V. is the abbreviation of Labor Onia Vincit which means 'Work conquers all’. In the days Dutch company L.O.V., based in Oosterbeek, was quite a famous factory. Historically they played a significant role with their progressive principles: L.O.V. was for example the first factory to introduce the modern 8-hours working day.
