These magnificent antique George III sterling silver wine coolers have a classic campania shaped form onto a plain knopped pedestal and domed circular spreading foot.
The surface of the upper portion of each body is plain and embellished with two large applied tied oak leaf wreath cartouches, one side bears the contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms* depicting a pile engrailed with three cross-crosslet fitchy, all surmounted with the crest displaying a cock's head.
The second cartouche on each holder bears the contemporary bright cut engraved presentation inscription 'Given to William Rigden, In Remembrance of William Galdork, by W.H.B'.
These silver wine bottle holders each have an applied moulded decorated border to the flared rim.
The lower bulbous portion of each wine cooler is encompassed with exceptional chased fluted decoration below an applied ribbed border.
Each wine cooler is supported by a domed circular spreading foot embellished with a chased egg decorated border and a plain collet style rim.
This exceptional pair of Georgian wine coolers were crafted by the renowned and important London silversmith Paul Storr.

The anterior surface of each dish is encircled with a band of fluted ornamentation below an applied laurel leaf festoon suspended from magnificent ram's heads.
This ornamentation incorporates an applied laurel wreath accented with a ribbon bow to the upper portion.
The swept rims of these dishes are encircled with an impressive applied palmette and bud decorated border.
Each of these impressive centerpiece dishes are fitted with an impressive hallmarked push fit cover, ornamented with fluted decoration to the domed border.
The covers retain the exceptional original cast sterling silver pineapple style finials.
