Jack Grisham Landscape Paintings

American, 1913-1994

Jack Grisham was born in Denton Country, Texas, in December of 1913. He lived most of his life in southern California, where he owned Jac's Art Shoppe located in Studio City, California, for approximately 30 years. Grisham was a self-taught artist. The majority of his paintings were of California landscapes and seascapes and Texas landscapes. Grisham also painted landscapes of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. His mediums of choice were oil and acrylic, and he occasionally used charcoal and pen and ink. Grisham died in Denton County, Texas, in May of 1994.
