We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of Colexfax & Fowler floral upholstered Victorian armchairs
A very good looking and well made his & her’s pair, the first chair is a tall wingaback with mahogany frame and Claw & Ball feet, it has the William Morris flat top arms which are the most comfortable arms ever designed for a wing char. The second chair is more of a club wingback, it has a relaxed seating position, mahogany turned legs finished with porcelain castors. Both chairs have feather filled seat cushions and coil sprung bases
The upholstery has been professionally cleaned from top to bottom, it has some discoloration on some panels, mostly due to the base colour being a brilliant white, I can’t see any specific marks anywhere, there is some light wear around normal areas, mostly they are in good condition
