An abstract garden of dense green buds and flowers ready to open. Joyanna says she was inspired by the buzz of life that springs forth after a cold, white winter. Her signature 'negative space' floral scenes are intended to reflect joy. "The story they tell is that joy can grow from any beginning - whether sad, happy, angry or empowered," she says. Joyanna begins each painting with vibrant color work and then completes the art by adding the negative space that defines her whimsical bouquets and gardens.
