Hollywood Regency table lamps by Kaiser with ice glass base. The lamps are from the years around 1965 to 1970. The special feature of this pair of lamps and typical of this period are their lamp bases. These are textured glass with polished brass accents. The texture makes them look like ice! These intricate lamp bases each have a lampshade also made of textured white fabric, outlined in gold at the top and bottom. The company was founded by Hermann Kaiser in and this already at the end of the 19th century. After World War 2 and the destruction of the factory, it was rebuilt and lamps were produced again until the late 1970s, from then on under the management of Thorn Lighting...
