The lighting and furniture collection created by Vlad Krasnogorov reflect an effort to achieve balance, harmony and proportion in new forms.
While notably organic, the collection has a sculptural sophistication that one might call “Nouvelle Art Nouveau.” Krasnogorov Studio focuses on the natural world, celebrating its beauty, balance and evocative power.
Formerly known as Thomas Newman Studio, the company was founded by Thomas W. Newman, the proud builder of more than 600 custom tables featured by many of New York City’s most prestigious interior designers. Now that Thomas Newman has retired, the studio will continue to build on his legacy, conceiving and creating lighting and furniture that honor expert artisanry while still exploring bold new possibilities in design.
