American, 1908-1996
Leo Politi, best known as an illustrator of children's books, was also a painter and muralist. Politi studied at the Milan Art Institute. Politi was a member of the Painters & Sculptors of Los Angeles and exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and in Milan. Politi illustrated many books.
