Los Castillo is a family workshop started in 1937 by the brothers Miguel, Justo Antonio, Jorge Castillo Terán and his cousin Salvador Vaca Terán; all of them apprentices first, teachers later in the workshop of Las Delicias, by maestro William Spratling, in Taxco Guerrero, Mexico.
They developed their own designs for jewelry in silver and also ventured into the elaboration of decorative and functional goldsmith's pieces.
