Natura morta con anguria (Still Life with Watermelon) is an original colored xylograph on Fabriano Cotton watermarked paper realized by the Italian artist and xylograph master, Luigi Servolini (1906-1981). A beautiful original print, representing a colorful still life composed by a jug, a knife cutting a watermelon and a glass of red wine, is hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right margin. Realized with a fresh line, a superb technique and a very high sensibility to colors, this classical composition with a formal order is a beautiful artist's proof. In excellent condition, except for some light sporadic stains on the margins, a defect does not affect the image, demonstrating a good inking and a full mastery of this artistic medium, this contemporary artwork comes with the certificate of authenticity (a blue ink stamp on the back on lower right,).
