Made to order by History Never Repeats LLC. Designed by Aaron Saxton & Maria Armada. Custom produced and size can be varied for each order from 14" to 56" wide and up to 120" tall. Model shown in 36" wide and 84" tall in "poolside blue".
The video shows a set of double doors that highlight the materials coupled with lovely hardware and a smoothness obtained by the quality paint we use.
Highest quality construction with the best hinges, woods and hardware that can be used. All hand made in the United States.
Shown in the first images in blue is a special version of our door with 12 radial bars rather than the usual 13; the later images show available other options.
We build elegant custom interior and exterior passage and entrance doors with a Mid-Century Modern style. Because our doors are individually crafted they can be customized to meet any requirement for use as an interior or exterior door, single or double. They can be produced with all manner of hardware for commercial applications if needed. All sales include pre-hung jambs and units are ready to be installed on-site.
Our doors are built superior to any production line series and all are handmade with no two the same.

We offer a background in any color desired or wood including oak, walnut, rosewood etc. and the bars can be produced from either brass, aluminum, colored aluminum or wood (walnut, ash, etc) or Stainless Steel.

Pair of Circa 1750 Walnut Wood Entry Doors from Spain

Spanish furniture and architecturals of the 18th century, such as this pair of walnut wood entry doors, were highly influenced by French stylings. Hand-carved circa 1750, the doors feature deep, sinuous moldings, reminiscent of the curvaceous motifs seen during the reign of Louis XV. The amazing doors have a rich brown patina that accentuates the charm of the carvings, which are also enhanced by the visible screws used to join the pieces of walnut wood.
Comprised of five carved panels per door, each carving is similar: a rough rectangle with rounded ends and barbed counter curves. The three smaller panels are orientated horizontally, surrounding the two larger and vertically arranged panels. A thickly scrolled bronze pull can be seen on each door, also functioning as door knockers (the door on the right has commensurate wear from the pull striking the wood). Produced, in stock and ready to ship immediately. These are new construction. Each door weighs approximately 180 pounds and are rated and made for exterior use. Made to order by History Never Repeats LLC. Designed by Aaron Saxton & Maria Armada. Heavy and substantial, these doors have the starburst bars in 1/2" relief and 1/4" wide. Matched walnut both sides. Sealed and coated with 7 coats of varnish with 2 final coats of matte finish using Epifanes spar varnish. Bars are sealed to lock in the color of the 100% solid brass. These are doors designed and produced to last and will be suitable even for marine environments. These may be used in a commercial space also if so desired as an entrance to a conference room or other use.
