Massimo Giacon was born in Padova, Italy in 1961. Since 1980, he has worked in Milan as a cartoonist, illustrator, designer, artist and musician. In 1985 he started working with an architect's studio, Sottsass Association, honing his design skills by working with Artemide, Alessi, Swatch, Philips, Ritzenhoff and Telecom.
