Maureen also is known as Mrs. Louis Tarazon was born in 1934, in London. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1958. She married Louis Tarazon in 1954 and together they have three children. Early years were spent studying under the direction of her father, Archibald Reeves. Later, she continued her studies at the London Polytechnic. Tarazon has lived in San Antonio, Texas, from 1970. She traveled many years with her husband resulting in a variety of painting subjects from Roman ruins in Turkey to English country gardens. She painted in Monet's garden at Giverny, France. Tarazon also produced, wrote and illustrated the children's book, Raucous Dorcus. Her works have been sold in galleries throughout the state and country.
