The iconic chairs have smooth ball finials on the back top rail. The frames feature an airy vertical slat back with turned corner supports, decorated in the neoclassical taste. The arms have a long, sweeping design echoing the gentle curve of the back rail. The chairs rest on straight slim tapered legs conjoined with X-stretchers.
