Michel Serraz Art
French, b. 1925
Michel Serraz was born on August 2, 1925, in Paris. He knows the price and importance of work and is constantly in a harmonious relationship with nature. For him, matter and spirit are indissociable and it is this notion that gives his sculptures power and interiority. His work was exhibited at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in 1946. In 1948, he worked alone and produced monumental works of wood, stone, bronze, poly concrete and hammered copper. He won the Sculpture Prize of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in 1965.
