Dall'Italia, una splendida coppia di vasi dipinti a mano con manici a forma di serpenti arrorolati, della manifattura Ceramica Molaroni di Pesaro, del 1950 circa, due anfore biansate dalla fattura eclettica, di forma circolare, poggianti su di un basamento quadrangolare, decorati a tutto rondo in policromia. Entrambi i vasi in ceramica hanno la stessa forma ma sono dipinti a mano con motivi e toni cromatici differenti, sapientemente calibrati in un decoro fitto a tema floreale. Provengono da una collezione privata milanese, si presentano in buono stato di conservazione a prescindere da vecchi restauri. Sotto la base la scritta della manifattura Molaroni Pesaro in nero che corrisponde alla metà del 1900. Questa coppia di vasi decorativi in ceramica viene spedita dall'Italia, ogni oggetto che risale a oltre cinquant'anni fa necessita di una licenza di esportazione governativa chiamata Belle Arti, rilasciata dal ministero dei beni culturali. La richiesta ed il rilascio di questo documento richiede 1 / 2 settimane di tempo, aggiuntive ai tempi di spedizione. Vincenzo Molaroni rileva nel 1880 la fabbrica pesarese "Benucci e Latti", già di proprietà dello zio Pietro Latti e attiva dal 1814, dove aveva iniziato da giovanissimo ad apprendere l'arte della ceramica. Dalla fabbrica escono opere, di grande qualità sia formale che tecnica, di gusto classico e di ispirazione rinascimentale ma anche alcuni lavori di carattere altamente innovativo. Nel 1881 la fabbrica partecipa all'Esposizione di Milano e l'anno successivo a quella di Torino. Nel 1884, grazie al buon successo commerciale ottenuto, la fabbrica si trasferisce nei più ampi locali di via Cassi a Pesaro. Nel 1885 la manifattura, che si avvale di alcuni valenti artisti come il decoratore Cesare Gai, Tito Magrini, Vittorio Benvenuti, Enrico Cardinali e Corrado Giuliani, partecipa con alcune opere all'Esposizione Universale di Anversa e in seguito a tutte le principali manifestazioni e mostre nazionali del settore riscuotendo sempre successo commerciale e attestati di qualità. Il marchio, utilizzato circa fino al 1900, è costituito dal monogramma, inciso a secco, VM e la scritta Pesaro. Nel 1900 la ditta muta la ragione sociale in "Società Anonima Molaroni & C." e il marchio diviene il simbolo grafico di un cigno con la dicitura Pesaro & MC impressi nella pasta. Nello stesso anno viene pubblicato il primo catalogo della manifattura la cui seconda edizione, nella quale sono illustrati 915 manufatti, verrà stampata nel 1908. Dal 1908 il marchio della manifattura diviene Molaroni/Pesaro scritto in turchino e negli anni successivi viene aggiunta la dicitura Made in Italy. Nel 1910 Vincenzo Molaroni è l'unico proprietario della ditta che occupa tra le venti e le venticinque persone tra operai, modellatori e pittori. Nella manifattura lavorano in questi anni numerosi artisti tra cui il fratello Giuseppe Molaroni e i figli Francesco, Eliseo e Telesforo oltre a Letizia Bertozzini, Romolo Bezziccheri, Giuseppe Cartocceti, Ferruccio Mengaroni...
