A fine midcentury seascape of turquoise colored water and skies. The heavy waves are crashing against the rocks jutting out into the sea as seagulls hover overhead.
Not your typical seascape oil painting.
Masonite dimensions 20" x 16". The period frame measures 25" x 21".
Signed by the artist in the lower right corner. Very good condition.
Nat Levy (1896-1984) Born: San Francisco, CA, studied at the Mark Hopkins Institute of Art in San Francisco, and the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
