This sophisticated Mid Century Modern dish was realized by the esteemed porcelain maker Moritake in Japan, circa 1930. It features an amorphic form- a slightly irregular circular shape- with a sunburst pattern emanating from a white center. The sunburst pattern consist of solid burnt persimmon and 24 karat gold bands with stylized geometric detailing within, all fastidiously hand painted.
