Omareli Furniture

Omareli is not limited to a single form of creative expression but rather explores and works with various artistic techniques. His work reflects his ability to adapt, learn, and constantly evolve, making it a reflection of his personal and artistic growth.

After working in several architecture and design firms, in 2018, he founded Foraneo, astudio, where he proposed projects that responded to the contemporary world, always seeking to incorporate character, rebellion, and authenticity.

Currently, his vision delves into the "art world," focusing his work on the creation of experimental pieces. His proposal is built on personal experiences. He spent his childhood surrounded by traditions, customs, and the stimuli of colonial architecture in a magical town in the High Mountain region, and his adolescence in the northern part of the country, immersed in skate culture, urban fashion, and music. This led him to be involved in various artistic practices from an early age, which helped shape his aesthetic vision.

He manages to reflect this in his work without defining himself in any one particular way, instead making it a compilation of different techniques, forms, colors, and textures. The result is unique pieces with daring and unconventional ideas that transcend conventional boundaries. Omareli explores and proposes new forms from Mexico City, where he continues his search for new ways of expression.

1970s Swiss 5-Shelf Tubular Polished Chrome & Green Perspex Shelving Unit

By Usm Haller

1970s five shelf polished tubular chrome and bright green perspex shelving unit. The unit is in the style of Swiss modular furniture brand USM Haller. The height adjustable shelves slot into the vertical rectangular supporting column which is supported by the larger lower shelf at the bottom. The four adjustable shelves are slightly smaller in depth by 10cm than the shelf at the bottom. The curved chrome top of the supporting column is removable to allow something to be slotted into the middle of it perhaps a mirror or another piece of perspex. I am not sure what exactly because it's missing from both units. The perspex shelves...

Amuneal's Black Wood, Steel, and Bronze Industrial Wall Mounted Shelving

By Amuneal

Located in New York, NY

Amuneal's Charred Pine, Steel and Bronze Shelving with Formed Returns. This single bay Loft Shelving Series unit is wall-mounted to support five shelves, using custom machined brass fittings on bent steel posts. Amuneal’s proprietary machined hardware clamps onto the posts so that the shelves can be easily adjusted at any time. The burnt oak shelves are milled in house from pine before being hand-finished using the traditional Shou Sugi Ban process of burning the wood. Ebonized oak is a similar looking alternative black wood option. Once completed, the shelves are sealed with a protective coating that keeps that burnt finish from rubbing off. The combination of blackened steel posts, machined and patinated brass hardware and the charred oak shelves make this a stunning and sculptural shelving...

How much Omar Ortiz paintings are worth depends on numerous factors, including size, medium and condition. His oil on linen painting Portrait of a Girl sold for more than $3,200 at auction in Chicago in 2018. The painting is a stunning example of the Mexican painter's hyperreal style. Although most of his work is done in oil, Oritz has produced pieces with other materials, such as pencil, pastel, charcoal, airbrushing, acrylic and watercolor. A certified appraiser or experienced art dealer can provide you with an estimated fair market value for any Oritz paintings that you own. Find a selection of Hyperrealist art on 1stDibs.
