Extremely light yet strong, foam-based stool prototype by Spanish designer Pablo Limón. These pieces are hand-formed and chromed using an intricate process of layering and sanding layers of silver nitrate to create their multicolored and uniquely detailed surfaces. This example is titled “Silver Nitrates - Prototype #3”. PABLO LIMON is an architect, industrial designer, and furniture designer based in Mexico City, Spain, and New York City. Limón runs his own design studio, PLDO, and is also partner and architecture director at Savvy Studio, which has offices in New York City and Mexico City.
