Pablo Simunovic

Pablo Simunovic was an Argentinian neoclassical artist and sculptor, born in Buenos Aires, in 1974. He is a self-taught child artist, who began to draw at a very young age. At the age of 14 years, he attended the Institute of Design, Ricardo Rojas, in Buenos Aires, until he turned 18 years old. He moved in 1999 to the United States, in Miami, Florida and it was here that he held a crucial meeting with the painter, Abdon Romero, a Venezuelan painter and director of the Academy of Fine Arts, in Maracaibo.

In the atelier of Romero, directed together with the painter, Sonia Hidalgo, Pablo continued his artistic journey, with the practice of drawing and gained a clear and sure sign in the realization of the shapes and volumes. Currently, Pablo lives and works between Florence and Pietrasanta, in Italy. From painting, he approached sculpture by working different materials from marble to bronze, with his passion for sculpture often leading him to Pietrasanta, in Tuscany, a privileged place for sculptors, where he found inspiration, materials and foundries to create his works of art.
