Parker Newton Furniture
A painter, illustrator and writer, Parker Newton was born in New York and lived and worked in the environs of Toronto in Canada, New York City and the state of Connecticut. He exhibited at several organizations, including the National Academy of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. Newton's painting titled Victory Fleet in North River is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of American History. His primary mediums were oil paint and newspaper illustration. Newton died in Neuilly, France, on May 13, 1928
