Paulis Postazs (1976, Latvia)
Father is painter Pēteris Postažs, mother is painter Lilita Postažs.
From 1987-1994 - Riga J. Rosenthal Secondary School of Art.
From 1998 - Bachelor's degree of the Latvian Academy of Art.
1994-2000 - Graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts, Department of Painting.
Since 2000 - Master of Arts in painting.
Participates in exhibitions since 1992. In his works he represents the figurative realism with penetrating irrealism.
The artist is close to the Renaissance period, especially Italian and Flemish painting - Goto, Cimabue, Pero De La Francesca, Paolo Uccello, Filippo Lipi.
Solo exhibitions in Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Latvia.
Group exhibitions in Riga, Berlin, Malaga, Ghent.
His works participated in Sotheby's auctions in 1999, Rostock, and in Sotheby's Artlink Internet auction in 2000. His works are mostly exhibited abroad.
