Helge Vestergaard Jensen 1917-1987. Rocking chair with solid rosewood frame, upholstered in piping-stitched patinated leather, neck cushion upholstered in leather.
This chair was presented in 1961 at the Copenhagen Cabinetmaker's Furniture Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art and Design in Copenhagen. The chair is made and marked by master cabinetmaker Peder Pedersen.

Measures: H. 103 cm. W. 61 cm. D. 65 cm. Signs of wear, single repairs, a hole in the leather on the reverse, two small burn holes on the seat, stitching on the neck cushion slightly worn, dark foam in the neck cushion. Original photos of the chair and original architectural drawings...
